Welcome to Luxe Paws Pet Care! My name is Amanda, and I'm passionate about providing the highest level of care and comfort for your furry family members. With a deep love for animals and years of experience in pet care, I understand that your pets are more than just pets—they're family.

I’m married to a loving and supportive husband named Chris, and we have a daughter, Emilie, who shares my love for animals. As a family, we love going on adventures, whether it’s horseback riding, exploring new places, or simply spending time together outdoors. I moved to Virginia from Florida when I was 9 years old and have called Chester home for the past 25 years. Growing up, I was always surrounded by and raised animals—cats, fish, hamsters, turtles, horses, chickens and many dogs, including two chocolate labs, a Rottweiler, and a lab/great dane mix. My love for animals started early, ever since I could remember we always had pets. I spent my teenage years pet sitting for neighbors and friends. Today, I’m the proud pet parent of Kobe, a gentle giant of a Great Dane, and my daughter’s vibrant Betta and tetra fish. I’ve also spent a lot of time around horses, which are my absolute favorite animals. Pet sitting has truly become my calling, allowing me to combine my love for animals with the joy of helping others care for their beloved pets.

After a fulfilling career in real estate and the financial industry, I discovered my true passion when I started pet sitting through Rover at the beginning of 2023. The experience brought me so much joy that I decided to turn it into a full-time business. Thanks to the continuous appreciation and support from my wonderful clients, Luxe Paws Pet Care was born.
